- Jingtong Railway Station –
It is a last railway station on the Pingxi Railway Line. The statoin itself is a Japanese style architecure and a rare wooden-built station in Taiwan. Different from the sky lantern, you can see the old mine car with the bamboo tube that for blessing here.

- Pingxi Old Street –
The Pingxi railway station and the interesting in lighting sky lanterns for blessing have become one of the representatives of Taiwan. It has attracted a large number of tourists coming here to visit every year. Surrounding shops are mostly tranditional mom and pop shops, hardware stores and eatier. There are various local Taiwansese snakcs on Pingxi Old Street. Don't foreget to try them, they will be worth the buy. The mining relics is also a must vist place.

- Houtong Cat Village –
Houtong Cat Village is one of the famous tourist spots in New Taipei City in recent years. CNN also selected it as one out of six places where cats outshine tourist attractions in the world. Visitors mostly come to photograph those playful cats, who laze around the Cat village and soak up the fuss. The village has also set up a "Cat Information center", hopoing that people get the correct information for feeding cats.

- Shifen Waterfall –
Shifen Waterfall is the largest and curtain style waterfall in Taiwan. The voluminous water and mighty force forms mists on top of the waterfall. The water vapor that is excited by the strong currents hitting the rocks forms a beautiful rainbow under the refraction of sunlight, so there is also a nickname for "Rainbow Pool".
